Well friends the great day has arrived Lee is on the bus safely and on her way to Durban, soon our lives will be filled with a ray of sunshine, the happy sounds of a little girl who brings joy to our world!

It is 10 C outside, the coldest it has been here in ages, the people in the flats next door in the flats are having a mean party, I would have thought they would be inside trying to keep or get warm!

Tomorrow evening, Port Shepstone High School Class of 1981 will be gathering for a get together, 30 years since we said good by to school. Should be interesting meeting every one after nearly 30 years absence. Have a blessed days friends!

Friends I am so happy tomorrow Lee Lee will be coming to Durban for three weeks, cant wait, she brings sunshine and warmth into our lives only as little girls know how to!

Looks as if my wish will soon be granted, rain is on its way, Richard comes through to say Daddy there is a storm coming, we will be able to check the roof now to see if it leaks!

Whew I am mother, a father, a repairer and maker of clothes, I do our washing, ironing and all the rest of the chores, but I am glad to say I am on top of it all !

To my utter astonishment we have just received a letter from SARS stating that Christopher has been registered as a Tax Payer! I wonder which clown is responsible for that! Being mentally challenged, a downs person and autistic, and now a tax payer, well on the bright side, he is on the way up!

Into the Grand Silence, wow what an Interesting movie. Glad I made to effort to get my hands on it.

yoh! took myself to the Doc thinking Monday evening it will be quiet, ha ha ha the place is jammed packed. The Doc is loved not only by us but by one and all it seems!

mmmm, This evenings mass was so disruptive, one parent could or would not control his small child, at one stage this kid was pulling at cloth under the statue of Our Lady, so much so I was waiting for it to come crashing down. That would have been a sight to see!

Friends we can once again rejoice, I have found a new job for Christopher to do, I iron the shirt or what ever the item is, put it on a hanger, he assess the item and knows to go hang it up in the correct cupboard! Wow, I am delighted, another way he can be made useful here.

To my Dad, Anthony Rhyce Hamshire, you went home one Sunday in 1988, 23 years ago, where ever you are and what ever you are up to (I am sure walking the Dogs is one of them) have a great day, thinking of you today and I often wish you were around!

Well friends, those of you who do manual work in the construction industry, have my respect, after a day of digging up and cleaning and relaying and re-cementing paving bricks. I am in no uncertain terms bushed, knackered, and all those words!!!

I learned a new word today GLOPPY, Richard used it to mean very wet cement daga! eg Lets make this cement gloppy Daddie and it will go in all the gaps on the paving bricks!

Wow this evenings eclipse is awesome, been out a few times to take a look, even Christopher my Downs brother took an interest in the going's on.

Peeps hold thumbs today for Richard, he was told yesterday afternoon his ‘real’ Dad is on the way out, after a flurry of phone calls last night, he is going today to visit his Dad is Grey’s Hospital with his Auntie Viv and Uncle Neville to ask for forgiveness and make the peace as we all know a very difficult thing today especially when you 20 and have not woken up to the realities of life!

Had a good last laugh night, we were walking the dogs via the depths of Stella wood cemetery, on the way home the path took us past the concrete fence and a particularly dark area, seeing two black guys sitting on pavement on the other side chatting, I called out to them 'hello sir !' they turned towards my voice, all I heard was 'eish' and they took off down road at high speed.

There is nothing like a good chicken curry to clear to sinus.

At last we have the tile that caused all the trouble for us, just one tile that cracked across and let in all that water, we also were up there with cement daga and tried to fill every crack and tile gap on the kitchen side of the roof. Tackled the garage roof too in an effort to deal with the leaks there.

Cement is very useful stuff.

Yay!!! Good news Lee Lee is getting received into the church, baptized, confirmed, the works on the weekend of the 17 September 2011, we going to Potchefstroom for another happy event!

Heavy rain in North Coast Road during lunch time, during my mission to go buy tiles for the room cement and such like. Boy did I get sopping wet!

This morning we woke up to a bang and an odd noise, suspecting a rat had been trapped, the truth turned out to be water coming thought the roof AGAIN, it was supposed to be fixed, it turns out that Richard slipped and fell during our repairs to the roof, thought it wiser not to tell Daddy, a few more tiles got cracked. Hence the deluge of rain inside, the huge mess and the bucket. Now we have to purchase more tiles!

Baby Janco has been discharged from hospital, and is just fine, whew what a relief, to God be all the Glory.

The Potch peeps tell me that is snowing in a small town 80km from them, wow, I did not know that was possible in South Africa. I always thought it was only the mountainous areas that got all the snow.

Baby Janco who was so sick this morning, little fellow, he had every one on the hop! But we knew what to do. Where to go knocking and who to ask and how to ask, we asked in his name, the name of Jesus.

Came home to the news baby is much better. Just like that ! Jesus saw us right. He promised he would not leave us orphens.

Thank you Jesus, you the Man, you came through big time for all of us today, Baby Janco is much better thanks to you, you made a plan. All those people were so distressed this morning and baby so so sick, we knew what to do, we can come ask in your name, and a plan would be made. You kept your promise, ask in my name, we asked in your name. You saw us right, thank you! To God be all the Glory.

Yay hip hip horray the power is back and the bonus of it all the water has returned. Thanks to the water department, the plumber was such a gentleman, so polite to all the ladies, and Madam this that and the next thing,don't worry your water will be restored soon. Wow from the old school!

LOL you guys will enjoy this one, the house keeper asks me what are we going to do for warm water to wash with, if the power outage carries on beyond this evening. Well we will make a fire and put a metal drum on it and get our hot water that way, LOL!

Wow what a morning, today is the feast of the Ascension, woke up to no lights (again) and the mains burst right outside our house. LOL we using the water from the pool to wash with, LOL, our trusty Generator to to make power.

Tomorrow is Ascension, we remember the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven, 40 days after easter. Thinking of Paul in Acts quoted as saying Acts 25 19 about a dead man named Jesus who Paul claimed was alive! Jesus is indeed the risen Lord.

Well if you determined to make your way you can beat My son Richard he went and got small chips and suckers to sell at a small profit for his pocket money effort. The girl he wants to visit must be really worth it.

Second Batch of Muffins, for Richards little business, this time we have packaged them, and put a thank you label on them to show our appreciation.

This is Daddys boy Coco, hand reared by me and fourteen years old, he is a
bit of a show off and likes to bite those who deserve such treatment. But
once you past all of that he is a loving sweet little fellow with a big
heart. He likes to sing happy songs and such like.

The roof side by the kitchen leaks like a sieve during a hectic storm. We have replaced 6 tiles so far and am giving the roof a very good painting in the process. Hopefully a thick coat of paint and a few coats over the dodgy areas and problem solved lol!!
